MATRIX REIMPRINTING
Matrix Reimprinting, by Karl Dawson, evolved from, builds upon, and enhances tapping. In essence, it changes neural pathways.
It is a method for transforming a negative memory once the painful emotional charge associated with the memory has been resolved through tapping.
The method involves going back into the memory and changing the way our mind has encoded a painful experience.
Rewriting memories changes our personal history through providing our younger self with positive resources such as love, safety, perspective, personal strength, and confidence that were not available to us at the time of the painful event.
After clearing to zero an especially traumatic, disempowering episode from her early years, I asked a client if there was a time in her childhood when she felt powerful, in control and not afraid.
So we imprinted the memory of those times she felt in control.
We transmuted an extremely painful event to one of freedom and joy.
Fully living in the moment. In control of her life. Allowing her true self to burst through.
At our next session, she reported feeling “Powerful. Joyful. Totally alive. Bubbling with energy. Strong. Athletic. In control. A sense of ‘I can do anything.’”
All states of mind she hadn’t felt in decades.
Such a beautiful method.
